Careers at Oasis Gold

Build your career at the heart of Uganda's gold economy — where metallurgy, finance, and integrity meet.

Uganda Mining Sector

Work at the Forefront of East Africa's Gold Boom

Uganda's gold sector is experiencing extraordinary growth. Gold exports reached a record US$5.8 billion (Shs 21.1 trillion) in the 12 months to November 2025 — making gold Uganda's single largest export commodity and accounting for over 50% of the country's total export earnings.

With 31 million tonnes of gold deposits estimated at a value exceeding USD 12 trillion and 9 licensed refineries now operating in the country, Uganda is rapidly positioning itself as a major player in African and global precious metals markets.

The Uganda National Mining Company was established in 2024, the first large-scale commercial gold mine is scheduled to open in 2025, and international investment in the sector is accelerating. This means significant, sustained demand for qualified professionals in metallurgy, assaying, compliance, logistics, and finance.

At Oasis Gold Refinery, you are not just working a job — you are building a career in an industry that will define Uganda's economic trajectory for the next generation.
